On Sunday, November 3rd we joined our friends for the first ever (and hopefully only!) "Will or Treat". Joseph's buddy, Will, had an accident on Halloween night which rushed him to the hospital instead of trick-or-treating with all of his friends. Thankfully he is ok but he was pretty bummed about missing out on Halloween so we decided to have a Halloween re-do. All of the kids were excited to dress up again and to get more candy and it was a beautiful day so it really was a perfect way to spend a late Sunday morning.
We met at Rob Fleming park in Creekside Park just a mile from our house and after the kids played for awhile at the playground, we then sent half of the adults along the trail to pass out the candy while the rest of the adults walked with the kids to trick or treat.
Here is the crew getting ready to go!
We had gone to church before and then Ella was napping so I didn't feel like putting her back in her cheerleading uniform. She didn't seem to mind!
On the path
Even Ella got some!
Wonder what they are talking about!?
Daddy took it to another level (of course!) and hid in the bushes to give out the candy. Elsie, with a big smile on her face, told her mom, Monica, "Mom, Mr. Rich scared me!"
We packed picnic lunches and ate and played after. I think Daddy had just as much fun as the kids and he napped well with Joseph after!
And here is most of the crew with their goodies.
It was such a fun morning but most importantly we are so glad that our buddy, Will, is doing alright.
