Veteran's Day Visitors

Rich's brother, Justin, and his family came to visit us over Veteran's Day weekend.  We had such a fun weekend with them and it was so wonderful to get the cousins together and to spend time with Justin and Anne Marie. The last time that we were together was in the summer of 2013 which was way too long ago but it was so great how everyone just picked up where we had left off.

This picture was taken within the first thirty minutes of their arrival!  Joseph, Ella and Sam began playing immediately and thankfully Sam made himself right at home and I think really enjoyed himself!
On Sunday, after church and naps, we headed to Market Street to ride the trolley and to check out "downtown The Woodlands."  We had to wait for a bit for the trolley so the kids kept themselves busy playing tag.
The trolley is always a good time although trying to get a picture of these three was challenging!
With two it was a bit easier!
Trying to document that Julia was also with us!
Joey and Julia are less than a month apart and we look forward to watching them grow up together. They definitely look like cousins!  Both are such laid back babies and were so great over the weekend.
Ella wanted to get in on the photo shoot!
Justin and Rich with their youngest little ones! I'd say they all look pretty similar here. Happy Veteran's Day to both Justin and Rich!
Sam brought his Paw Patrol figurine which Joseph loved playing with.  Thanks to Sam for sharing so nicely!
Dinnertime!
Sweet cousins!  We are so thankful that they made the trip from Kansas for the weekend.  It is always so wonderful to spend time with family and we just loved seeing the cousins together.  Looking forward to our next visit and hoping that it isn't too far away!

Julia Ann-2 months!!

Can't believe this sweet little peanut is 2 months already!!  She is such a joy and continues to be such a sweet, laid back little girl.  She is smiling frequently and brightens up when we are smiling at her.  She is starting to coo regularly and is always making noises in her sleep (she must have good dreams!) Speaking of sleep, she is a fabulous sleeper (which I could not say about the first two so will brag a little about her!)  At 5 weeks she slept for 5 hours and 40 minutes which was her longest stretch yet and then on  November 5th she slept from 10:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.!!  Since then most nights she continues to do about that-varying on either end but pretty close to it.  I'm pretty sure that Joseph and Ella were still waking every 3-4 hours during the night until 5 months so this is amazing in my book! She loves to be swaddled which definitely helps. She also is a great napper.  In the morning she may sleep as long as 3 hours and sleeps great in the carseat where it hardly phases her if she is in the car or the stroller or at home.  The afternoons it just kind of depends what we we are doing as to where and when she naps but she snoozes off and on.  She continues to be a very, very happy baby.  Honestly, she rarely cries-we still haven't had to take any drastic measures to get her to calm down-you either feed her or swaddle her and give her the paci and she is fine (no walking back and forth, no sitting on the dryer, etc.)  The swing that we borrowed from the Kneller family is working out so well and she continues to love it.   At her 2 month appointment on November 17th she weighed in at 12 pounds, 13 ounces (74th percentile) and is 23 1/2 inches long (81st percentile.)  Dr. Romero said she looks great and I just really can't believe that she's 2 months already (I know, I'll be saying that every month that I do her monthly update!)  So, here she is-our sweet little 2 month old and lots of her!
2 months today!
