Hiking

On Saturday, November 2nd, we decided to test Ella out in the hiking backpack and try our first "hike" as a family of four.  It was a success!  Joseph had a blast exploring, looking for owls, and playing hide and seek with us.  Ella was all smiles for the first twenty minutes and then passed out and snoozed the rest of the way.  I use the word hike sparingly since it is more of a flat stroll but we pass by a few lakes and the scenery is pretty so it works...plus the fact that the trail is less than 2 miles from our house is an added bonus.
