'Tis the season

'Tis the season of parties, gatherings and just holiday fun and we have been doing just that.  The month kicked off with Rich's work Christmas party on December 1st, which unfortunately I don't have any     pictures of, but we had a great night and it was fun to dress up and we even got on the dance floor with my big belly and all!
On December 7th we had an Ugly Sweater Christmas party at a friend's home which was a blast.  Since it was close to 80 degrees that day we decided to go with ugly sweater vests instead of full on sweaters.  Rich even won first place for his sweater (guess they liked it on him more so than on me!)

Some of us girls (and kiddos)
They had the bounce house set up for the kids
And the playroom was fully taken advantage of!
Claire loves her some Rich and at one point during the night she went up and stood just like this for about 5 minutes!  So sweet!
On December 12th I had my girls night Christmas party which was a blast.  I have been fortunate to have amazing group of girlfriends over the years-from highschool, to college, to Hawaii and now in Texas, I am so thankful for each and every one of them.  We have a special group here and it is so great to share being a mom with these special ladies on a daily basis.  We have been doing moms night outs with our group once a month since May but recently we changed it to Moms night in where we meet at someone's house and just order take out food and come in comfortable clothes so we kept with that theme and everyone wore Christmas pajamas!
Kicking off the white elephant exchange
All of us including the newest little one who was born a month ago-Eva Madelyn May.  I'm next and then Barbara is right behind me due with a little boy on January 2nd so it will be fun having three new babies so close in age.
And, this past weekend we went to the waterway for a caroling concert and picked up pizza with two other families.  The kiddos had a great time running around and dancing to the music and the adults tried to have an adult conversation here and there in between chasing around the little ones.
Relaxing listening to the music...I guess!  Notice Joseph wearing his football outfit!
The carolers with three of our kiddos running in front of them-this was pretty much how the night went!
Rich iwth Joseph and Claire, his little buddy!
 The three of us!
