Top Ten Favorites at 2 years-
I started this at 18 months (see here) and hope to keep it going at least once a year from now on. Here are his answers from his 2nd birthday!
The things in quotes are what he said when I asked him what his favorite things were. Then I added my own input which are not in quotes :)
Favorite sayings-"Please"- He is cracking us up with his sayings lately. Yesterday at the doctor's office in the waiting room he looked at the lady sittting next to him and says, "Hi, nice to meet you!" We couldn't stop laughing and then he kept repeating it because he knew it made us laugh. And he reminds us every night at dinner to say grace.
Favorite food-"oatmeal" "yogurt" "football pants" He also loves to eat ground turkey or hamburg, almost all fruits-just depending on his mood, and peanut butter sandwiches. He isn't really a picky eater and eats whatever we are having for our meal just with extra fruit and veggies.
Favorite friends-"Claire, Norah, Mama friend" He also talks about "Elsie" or "Elsie girl" non-stop.
Favorite color-"kitty kats" "Christmas tree" Not sure where those answers came from...I guess he probably doesn't like a color yet but he is able to name the following colors: blue, yellow, green, red, orange, purple, white, black and most of the time brown.
Favorite number-"two" Love hearing him count to ten-he still needs a little bit of help but he almost has it down. His "one two free" is pretty cute :)
Favorite animal-"woodpecker", "bunny rabbit", "turtle" The woodpecker is a random one! Made me laugh! He loves dogs and kitty cats. The past two mornings when he woke up he told me, "I dream of dogs" "I dream of kitty cats"
Favorite song-"Kitty kat song", Not sure what song this is...he has been singing "jingle bells" and "santa claus coming to town" recently due to the holidays. In the car he still asks for "March" which is the marching song on the Raffi cd and he loves signing "the wheels on the bus." When singing the ABCs he doesn't have them all down yet but is getting there.
Favorite thing to do outside-"Ride bicycles" "Go to park" He was right on with this answer! Definitely his favorites.
Favorite drink-"Wa wa" "Milk" Water and milk-his two staples.
Favorite book-"kitty cat book" (are you seeing a trend?) I couldn't get him to give me an answer but he still LOVES all books and LOVES to be read to. We still aren't watching any tv (except for football on the weekend and the occasional Elmo on my iphone) so we spend a lot of time reading. He can sit through numerous books and it is so neat to hear him starting to memorize the books and "read" along with us.
