After our night at Legoland we made it home for a bit to unpack and have Charlotte take a quick nap and then we headed to Nani and Poppa's for our delaMontaigne Christmas celebration. Since our family as well as the Zicklers will be traveling over Christmas we decided to celebrate today (the 17th) with gingerbread houses, Nani's Christmas gift card game, pjs and dinner. It was such a great afternoon!
The kids got busy with the gingerbread houses right away and made some pretty creative houses.
We then moved inside and everyone was SO excited to open their Christmas jammies. This is such a fun tradition (I know it has definitely been going on for 8 years but probably longer!) Even Charlotte was so excited to get her Christmas jammies!!
The kids changed into their pjs immediately so we had to get a picture. Unfortunately, Finn had hand foot mouth so he stayed home with Paul but we'll get another cousin picture in the jammies once he is better!
Crazy kids!
We then got to playing Nani's traditional and super fun gift card game. This is always such a treat and I love how excited the kids are getting into the game now, too.
Uncle Dave debating if he is going to steal Joseph's gift card.
I think Joseph was stolen from the most but he was such a good sport. He ended up with one from Angelika movie theatre so was excited to be able to use that!
Charlotte didn't officially get to participate this year but she had fun unwrapping and helping everyone!
After a delicious ham dinner, we sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and enjoyed our traditional delicious cake for his birthday!
We are so thankful for this great family of ours and just love being able to celebrate all of the holiday fun together.
