Julia 3 months!

The day after Joseph turned 4, we celebrated Julia's 3 month birthday!

She is definitely a baby now and no longer a newborn. At three months she is cooing, smiling constantly and her hands have definitely found her mouth as she is constantly trying to eat them. She is able to hold her head up and is sturdy. We have had a few laughs from her, too, and Daddy definitely gets her laughing the most. She had her first cold last week right before she turned 3 months and we took her to the doctor just to be safe and thankfully she sounded better in a few days. The cold definitely messed with her sleeping schedule though as she was sleeping from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. but once the cold came she was up every 3 hours and unfortunately for the most part continues to do this now. We know she can do it though so are hopeful that once the holidays are over we'll get her back on track-one can hope, right? She continues to be such a sweet and happy baby and just goes with the flow. I know I've said this before but I am honest when I say that she rarely cries-I'm not trying to brag, just wanting to put it in the blog book so I remember when she's a teenager giving us a hard time!

She still naps almost constantly in the swing which I know is a habit that we'll need to break eventually but she sleeps so well there that I'm sticking with it for a bit longer! And, yes, we are definitely guilty of having her sleep in it at nights sometimes, too!

Getting into the Christmas spirit on December 6th with a very fun hand me down headband from the Conley crew!! Everything is bigger in Texas, right? From her smile I would guess that she likes it, but her hand gesture has me thinking otherwise!!

Ella was helping me take her picture so she also wanted to get in on the action! I just had to include all of these because I loved looking at both of their facial expressions!! These girls!

And, then, Ella decided that she also needed a headband like Julia. Ella won't ever let me put on a headband the correct way though-she just always places it at the top of her head and looks like a hot, adorable mess everytime she wears one!
