It is so hard to believe that we are in December already! How did that happen and what a year it has been!
We started off the first weekend in December with Joseph's last tball game and award ceremony on December 6th.. He had a fun season and learned a little but I think we will wait another year or so to have him play tball again. It was pretty slow moving with a lot of waiting around (as baseball games tend to be) and we think that he would probably benefit from a more high energy activity so if we decided to do another organized sport next year we'll most likely stick with soccer. He is a good little player though but told us that he enjoys playing in the backyard more because he doesn't have to use a tee and can hit it on the house or over the fence when we pitch it to him (which he does often!)

It was fun to watch Joseph and Daddy work/play together during the season.
After tball we went to find our Christmas tree! We decided to try a new Christmas tree farm location this year thanks to a freind's recommendation so made our way to Spring Creek Growers Tree Farm. This place was really cool and we are glad we made the switch. We found our tree (pre-cut of course since we aren't crazy about the types of trees grown in Texas) and had a lot of fun at the tree farm.
Here they are on the hayride through the trees
They had a really cool treehouse that we played in for a bit!
And, then, we checked out all of the other fun activities that the farm had to offer.
In Hawaii we waited to put our tree up until the day of the Army Navy game, but since we have lived in Texas we no longer wait that long and have been putting it up before. The game this year was on December 13th which just seemed so late so we put the tree up on the evening after we brought it home on December 6th.
Such good helpers!
Lots of fun in front of the decorated tree!
Looking forward to a fabulous Christmas season!!
