Ella is now 14 months! She is such a little toddler and definitely no longer a baby! She is all over the place-basically trying to run these days! She doesn't sit still for long. She is not a huge fan of the stroller-will tolerate walks or runs in it but always needs a snack and isn't a huge fan of the carseat either. We finally moved her into the convertible seat hoping that would help but she often still yells while driving, unless if she has a snack, or we are singing to her, or she has her pacifier. She only uses the pacifier for sleeping, the car, and the stroller and I keep saying that I am going to cut out the stroller and the car but then I get in the car with her and she starts screaming and I think, "well, one more day won't hurt her!" Soon enough!
She loves being outside and getting dirty. Honestly, her pants are normally dirtier than Joseph's most days!
She is only saying "ma ma" and "da da" and some type of "maaaa" which we think means "mine" but she will definitely let you know if she wants or needs something. She has the pterodactyl scream mastered and will point to whatever she wants or sign "please."
So much joy!
And excitement for life!
This is the face that she always has when Daddy walks in the door or is done from work. SHe gets so excited to see him! She then will flirt with him and will turn her head away from him and then turn it back real fast. So sweet and so fun!
Still loves that tongue of hers!
She's a tough little girl. She had her first fat lip the first week in March (I know after her 14 month birthday but close enough!) and she cried a little but then was fine. It was even bleeding! She falls often as she is picking up the pace while walking and honestly most times it doesn't phase her.
She is such a snuggle bug. Every night when I put her to sleep I hold her and sing, "Hush Little Baby" and she just wraps her arms around my neck so tight. She will just walk up to you and hug your leg and loves snuggling when she wakes up from a nap or in the morning. We love her hugs!!!
Happy 14 months sweet girl. We love you!
