On Wednesday, July 4th, we arrived at Rich's aunt and uncle's home in the morning. Rich's grandma lives in their guest house and we stayed in her 2 bedroom home. Rich's dad made the drive from Atlanta and Rich's brother, Gary, his wife, Amber, and their new baby, Max, drove up from Stuart, Florida. Also visiting was Rich's cousin and her family from New Jersey and Rich's two other cousins live in the area so we had a great time visiting with everyone.

Emma Kate and Francesca were so great with Joseph!
After hanging out for a bit at the house we made the almost hour drive to beautiful Amelia Island where we spent the 4th. Rich's cousin, Katie, and her family are members of the Amelia Island Beach club so we all met there, had lunch and then spent the day at the beach. The beach club was awesome and the beach was gorgeous. Joseph took a nice long nap after lunch and a swim in the pool and the ocean and woke up just in time for cocktail hour!
We headed over to Rich's cousin's home (Caroline and Andrew) for a bit and then made our way to her husband's parent's house for a 4th of July party. It was a busy day but so great to spend time with lots of family!
On Thursday we said good-bye to Gary, Amber and Max-it was so great to see them and we are so thankful that they made the drive to see us!! Max is such a cutie and I have a feeling he is going to be a little bruiser just like his older cousin, Joseph!
Photo shoot with Max!
The rest of the day we just hung out at the home-went for a long walk, hung out in the boat and by the dock, and played with all of the second cousins.
Looking for crabs!
Caught one!

We headed out Friday morning after breakfast. We are so thankful that Joseph was finally able to meet his great Grandma Ducote and that we were able to spend time with Rich's family.
