Cross country visit

My parents drove from New York to California last week and we were fortunate enough to have them stop by our house for 2 nights on their trip.

Joseph was SO excited when they pulled up in the driveway!  It is so cute to watch him get so excited to see family.
                                          

We had a really nice visit, as always, and on Tuesday just hung out at the house and the park together. 

 It poured on Wednesday morning so we ventured up to the Children's Museum and spent a few hours there, had lunch, a quick trip to the dr's office to have Joseph's elbow popped back in (casualty at the Children's museum with nursemaid's elbow) and then played all afternoon back at the house. We were fortunate for the rain to stop long enough for a walk and the park again.

On Thursday I took Rich to the airport so Nani and Poppa babysat and then when I returned they were on their way to finish off the rest of their cross country trip.  Joseph talked about them for the rest of the day and since their visit has been doing raspberries non-stop thanks to Poppa and spitting water thanks to Nani.  We know that he didn't pick up the spitting water from my mom but almost every time he does it he says "Na-na" so we are going to blame her!
