July's Roundup

We are definitely making the most of this still kind of weird summer.  We have been seeing friends, lots of family, and getting lots of sun!  All great things!  Here is the roundup from July...

We have been spending at least one day a week at Mission Bay.  The Ozecks have started bringing their paddleboards and kayaks since all of their shipment stuff has arrived so that has been super fun!  Lots of other beach days thrown in there, too.

Lots of pool days of course, too!
Charlotte and Spencer did gymnastics camp that they loved!
I'm pretty sure this is Julia almost all the way to the top!!
Cole and Joseph love going down to the pond to catch crawfish!
Crawfish boil!!!
Nonna and Pop Pop came to visit for a long weekend and we had such a great visit!
We had a girls day one day where we went to lunch and all got manicures and pedicures!  Such a treat!
While the girls were getting our nails done, the boys walked down to the creek and caught some crawfish!  We came back to a whole family of them!
When Nonna and Pop Pop were visiting we spent the day at Belmont Park!  The kids had such a blast!  Joseph, Ella and I rode the wooden roller coaster and I can safely say that I don't have the need to do that ever again!
We also took them to Cabrillo National Monument and to check out the tidepools-it was a gorgeous day!  The funniest part was when Ella and Nonna were writing with rocks in the sand and the ranger came over and told them that it was technically grafitti and they have to clean it up-oops!!!
We also went to the Mission.  This was the kids' first time to the mission and I hadn't been in years!  Pop Pop and Joseph really got into the history where Nonna and the girls were more interested in the gift shop :). It was neat to see though!
Terri and Moon met up with an old family friend who was in San Diego so the kids and I hung out at a nearby park for an hour.  It was a neat park with an amazing view!
We celebrated Nonna's birthday!  We have been lucky enough to spend many of her birthdays with her!
When we dropped Nonna and Pop Pop off at the airport we hung out at Waterfront Park for most of the morning and it was one of my most favorite mornings of the summer.  We didn't have bathing suits and the kids got totally soaked and had the best time!
Charlotte went to Kyla's birthday party at the club one afternoon and had the best time!
Joseph is always testing the limits...
Rich and I celebrated our 15th anniversary at dinner at Dukes!  Unfortunately, we didn't get a picture of ourselves but did get one of the beautiful view!
Katelyn, Trey and baby James also came to visit us in July...it was a busy month!  We had the best time with them and are so thankful that they made the trip.  It was so great to meet baby James and everyone fell instantly in love, even though he cried almost every time we got in the car-ha ha!
We kicked off the trip in Coronado which is always a great way to start off a visit in San Diego.
We found the La Jolla swing which is something that I have been wanting to do for awhile!
After the swing we headed to La Jolla to pick up some Mexican food and have dinner on the beach-such a nice night!
Happy baby after hiking Torrey Pines and hanging at the beach!

He was so sweet!
After a few days we seemed to master the car rides by feeding him!
On their last morning we went over to Moonlight beach and found an incredible rock garden!
Julia found the perfect rock for her!
Fun with Aunt Katelyn and Uncle Trey on the trampoline!
Charlotte was upset that they had to leave so would not get in the photo with him...she was pouting in the other room! Oh, Charlotte!
A zoo day with the cousins!
We celebrated 7/11 with slurpees from 7/11!
Julia Reppas was in a weeklong camp at the community park where she put on a play on the last night so she invited the girls to come and watch.  They loved it!
The boys went to the Padres game one night so I took the girls on a girls night where we went to One Paseo and then to the beach for sunset.  The boys had a blast (Rich's company's seats are amazing!) and the girls and I had a great time, too!
The kids continued to work with Poppa over the summer at the fields!  He is just so amazing and we are so thankful for him!
We've also had some downtime at home which was been nice-love summer since even though we stay busy and have lots of fun we don't have to necessarily be anywhere like we do during the school year.
Trying out new hairstyles this summer
Sleeping with curlers in!
Charlotte can go from super happy to super unhappy in a matter of seconds...thankfully for the majority of time she is happy but when she is unhappy, watch out!
Sleeping in our bed upside down one morning...
The girls are always putting on shows!
Julia is losing her teeth and writing notes to the tooth fairy.  I think we couldn't find the tooth fair pillow this time which is why her tooth is in a bag...
This view never gets old...especially on mornings and nights like this!!
Thankful for an amazing month!
