Another great thing about July was beach camping!!!! This year we couldn't get a spot at Carlsbad so we tried a new group site at San Clemente. It was still a great trip but we all decided that we prefer Carlsbad. The beach was rocky and the waves were really strong and the campsite didn't have a view of the ocean...but, still an amazing weekend! The Pilchaks ended up with a skunk in their tent (thankfully nobody got sprayed!) but still quite an adventurous night for them! The kids just had a blast, as did the adults! This is one of our most favorite summer traditions!
All tuckered out on the car ride home!
Charlotte was still tuckered out when we got home. She literally fell asleep at the top of the stairs!! That is the sign of an amazing vacation!
