On September 15th we celebrated Julia and Charlotte's birthdays with the family. The girls were apprehensive about the birthday celebration because this would be the first family party without Sydney and Cole there so they weren't sure how fun it would be, but thankfully they had a great day and although it was different it was still so special. We were lucky enough to have Aunt Laura here for the day since she was in San Diego for an event so at least she could represent for everyone. We started off with swimming since it was a hot September day.

Julia wanted a pinata so we made that happen with a great LOL doll pinata. It was a little different since all you had to do was pull the string, instead of whacking it with a bat, but probably safer and just as much fun.

Charlotte requested another horse cake but chocolate this time and Julia wanted donuts. Crazy enough that morning we had the Vuongs and Laugesens over to our house for breakfast and the Vuongs brought donut cakes so we were able to bring the leftovers which worked out perfectly since they were huge!!
So thankful to our awesome family for another special birthday celebration for our sweet girls!
