We flew back on Monday, January 6th and Rich left early on the 7th for FLorida for the rest of the week for training with his new job. He is traveling a lot during January and February for all of the trainings with this new job but we're staying busy and making it work. And, thankfully at the end of February it should quiet down and he can actually start enjoying the working from home aspect of the new job.
WE came back to some cold weather (well not cold compared to the majority of the country but cold compared to San Diego) so it took a little getting used to.
On our first day back we decided it was a nice, chilly day for Ella to model her purple adidas track suit to keep her warm...all girls should have one!
She loves the squat position!
And by the end of that week it was back to the high 60s so after breakfast the kids were playing outside, Joseph barefoot in short sleeves.
We headed to the park later that day-Joseph is quite the climber these days! Almost to the top!
And, Ella was relaxing in the swing watching him!
Joseph has been into taking the couch cushions off of the couch recently and every once in awhile I let him go with it and play like that for awhile. Ella loves it because she can then climb onto the couch by herself. She is so proud of herself and thinks that she is such a big girl!! She took 6 steps on January 12th which is the most she has done so far-she is getting so close!

And finally when she got down she escaped to the bathroom which is one of her favorite places to hang out. We have to always remember to put the toilet seat down because she loves trying to reach the water and she also loves to unroll the toilet paper! She's too much!
One more picture at the park from that week and then we were off to Atlanta for a long weekend...so much for being back in the normal routine!!
