Joseph took to Ella immediately and his love for her seems to grow each day. He kisses her every chance he gets, asks frequently to "carry" her (and sometimes tries to carry her on his own), pets her head, face, feet, hands and sometimes eyes and will ask about her when he wakes up in the morning if she isn't there to greet him. He also likes to give her "pound" and as of today he has started giving her raspberries "ra-raz" on her arm. Joseph is a little lover though as he is known for his affectionate demeanor towards his friends-sometimes too much-as he loves kissing all of his friends and could probably stay in a hug for 5 minutes, so we didn't expect anything different towards his baby sister. Sometimes his pats are a little too rough, and thankfully we've only had one time when he went in for a swat on her forehead when he wasn't getting enough attention but overall he has been wonderful towards her and has made such a great transition.
He's been in love since he met her
If she doesn't come upstairs to get him up the first thing he does is go into our room to "Say hi baby Ella" and if I do bring her up he gets so excited that she is there and says "Hi baby Ella, good morning"
Buddies already
Such a sweet boy!
He is going to be such a great protector of her.
We are working on making sure that he gives her some space so the rule is that when she is on a blanket or on the changing pad he has to stay off...for the most part it works. He will stand or sit next to her and talk to her and say "Look baby Ella, look at me"
Our hope is that they always have this much fun together
