Memorial Weekend-Day 3

We were up and out early on Monday morning because we decided to rent a pontoon boat on the lake, which meant checking out of the cabins before loading the boat.  It was a busy morning but well worth it once we got on the boat.  

Rich was our captain and the kiddos were so excited to be out moving on the water.  We drove around the lake for awhile which was beautiful and some gorgeous lake homes to dream about.  

Then we headed to an island and docked to swim and to enjoy the beach.  The water was super nice and we spent all of our time lounging around in it.

Joseph is obsessed with Rich's nipples-ha ha ha! 

After a leisurely lunch on the grassy part of the island, we packed everything up and headed back to the pier.  On the boat ride back 3 out of the 5 kids fell asleep (Joseph wasn't one of them) but within 5 minutes of putting him in the car he was passed out-slept the entire car ride home and then another 2 hours once we got home.  I'd say he had quite a weekend!!

 It was so nice to get away for the weekend and everything just worked out so well.  We are very fortunate for all of the service men and women who have made countless sacrifices for this country which allow us to enjoy our freedom.  Over this Memorial Day weekend we thank those who serve and have served our great country and remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
