We are so thankful that Joseph had another great year at Westwood. Although this year lacked the personal connection with the teacher that we had in kindergarten with Mrs. Clark, Joseph really liked Mrs. Matthews and was happy going to school every day which is all we can ask for. He had his best buddy in his class and made some other good friends and brought home an amazing report card on the last day of school so I'd say the year was a success. He loves to read, has made great improvements with his writing, enjoys math and just overall is a great student. He will tell you that he is really looking forward to summer though so is also ready for a break!

His class end of the year party was on Wednesday, June 13th, and the girls and I were excited to join his class in all of the fun!
There was extra cake so the girls were all pleased to indulge!

Here is his last day of school picture. We are so proud of the boy that Joseph is turning into. He is helpful, kind, hard working and has a love for learning. We are looking forward to enjoying summer and then can't wait to see how much he grows in the 2nd grade!
