Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving this year was kind of two fold.  On actual Thanksgiving day we had the Zicklers and Nani and Poppa over to our house to celebrate with turkey and all the fixings  (the Ozecks and Brian and Hollie were out of town) and then on the Saturday after we all got together at my parent's and celebrated again with everyone but no turkey that time around.  Both days were filled with delicious food and wonderful moments!
On Thanksgiving we enjoyed a relaxing morning at home-Rich and I took turns running,  we watched the Macy's Day parade, made turkey crafts, did some cooking and got ready for everyone to come over that afternoon.
Oh, and we also went swimming!  Thanksgiving wouldn't be complete without a swim in the pool!  It was mid 80s so a perfect day for it!
Hanging out with everyone before dinner enjoying the beautiful day!!
The kids helped me set the table earlier that day!
Rich fried the turkey again this year and it was delicious!  Joseph went to town on the turkey leg!
Charlotte loved every bit of the meal, too!!
So, so, so thankful for this sweet family of mine each and every day but especially today!!
After they all went to bed I headed out for some early Black Friday shopping and actually got some pretty good deals and avoided the actual Black Friday crowds so it worked out perfectly!
On Saturday afternoon we headed to Nani and Poppa's for another fun day together filled with more swimming and delicious food!  It was another beautiful day out so we enjoyed dinner outside and had a great time together as always.
Since it was so nice out we even decided to use the fire pit to make snores-such a treat when we are at Nani and Poppa's!!
Happy Thanksgiving!!
