Kickoff to Christmas

On Saturday November 23rd we bundled up and headed to the Lighting of the Doves festival at Towne Greene.  The weather was rainy all morning and in the 40s so we weren't going to go but we had to head to the mall and Joseph kept asking to go to the festival all week long so after the mall the rain stopped and we decided to check it out.  It was chilly and the grass was soaking wet (not the best day to wear my flats!) but we had a good time and didn't have to fight any crowds since not many people chose to make it out.
Joseph went down the snow hill and LOVED it!

And there he goes!
He talked all week about playing in the snow but wasn't super crazy about it once he got there since he fell when walking on it and it was cold!

We made a few crafts at the booth from The Children's Museum, listened to some music and then grabbed a bite to eat and called it a night.  Santa wasn't coming until after 7 and we got there around 5 and didn't really want to wait another 30 minutes for him.  Joseph didn't know that he was coming so he didn't mind leaving and Ella was passed out in the ergo so she was good to go home, too.  Glad we went and it was a great way to kick off the holiday season!
