Aquarium

When Nani was in town we decided to venture into downtown Houston to check out the aquarium.  I have been wanting to take Joseph so figured this would be a perfect opportunity.  Plus a few weeks before we drove by it and Joseph had been talking about the ferris wheel outside of the aquarium that he saw so we knew he would be excited.

We were very pleased with the aquarium-it isn't huge but for 15 dollars it is definitely worth it (and bonus that Joseph was free!)  The price included the outdoor activities as well which included the ferris wheel, carousel, train ride, and then some older kid rides as well as midway like games.

Joseph loved the turtles, the alligators and all of the big fish.  He was totally freaked out by a scuba diving manequin-he seriously jumped into my arms and then clung around my neck-i had never seen him like this before.
Giving the fish a "fish face" kiss
The very last exhibit was a tiger.  We weren't really sure how this ended up at the aquarium but it was pretty neat to see and Joseph enjoyed it.
After checking out the indoor exhibits we went outside for the fun there.  The admission allowed unlimited use of the rides...I think we rode the carousel 5 times.
The train took you through the shark tank which was great!
Waiting patiently for the ferris wheel to begin.
 "Weeee" He loved it!
And the carousel one last sweaty time before we headed home.
