Goodness! How can we almost be at a year? It is so hard to believe that our squishy, chubby, dark haired newborn has changed to an active, light haired but still chubby 11 month old! She is such a joy in our lives and her bright blue eyes and big open mouthed smile light up our days. 11 months sure is BUSY though!! I feel like I spend most of my time running to the stairs because she has either opened the baby gate (yes, she is that smart!) or one of the kids has left it open and she is on a mad dash to get up those stairs. Or I am saving her life by sticking my finger in her mouth to retrieve one of the many small things that she puts in her mouth constantly. Or I am picking her up and moving her to another location so she isn't destroying something that one of her siblings is in the middle of. The nickname of "destructosaurus" that we had for Julia has been passed on to Charlotte as she fits it to a "T". Busy, busy, busy for sure but we wouldn't have it any other way.
She LOVES to point and does it constantly. The point is normally accompanied with a grunting sound "uh, uh" so she wants you to know that she is looking at something.
Here are her sweet 11 month old pictures. We just love this little girl so much!
Happy 11 months baby Lar Lar! She is such pure joy!! That smile and laugh are just contagious and she really does brighten any room.
Trying to contain her is tough but every once in awhile she stays put for a bit.
Charlotte continues to love the bath and is honestly just crazy in it. She is always thrashing herself around in it and flailing herself backwards. We have had a few close calls of banging her head but so far so good. It is easier to bathe her by herself right now because when Jules and Ella get in she is just all over them and gets even more excited so normally I throw her in first and then they get in, unless Ella decides to shower and then just Julia will get in.
She looks all happy and innocent here but she will put up a good fight if you try to take that cup or washcloth from her! Thankfully she is easily redirected...
One of her favorite pastimes these days is "helping" to unload the dishwasher and then to crawl up on and in it.She currently has 2 teeth on the top and almost three teeth on the bottom!! Her tongue is out of her mouth constantly and far, especially when excited!
Always wanting to get up in my business as we say to her :) We love you Lar Lar!
