Memorial Day Weekend 2015

This was the first year in 3 years that we have stayed in The Woodlands for Memorial Day since normally we are vacationing with our friends; however, this year, one of the couples is in Greece so we decided to postpone it until Labor Day hopefully.  Without any set plans here we just kind of took each day as it came but had a great long weekend!
On Saturday, after getting our workouts in and running a few errands, we went to Towne Greene for the Memorial Day festival that they were holding there.  There were lots of fun booths, games, music and food.  We had a really fun afternoon and then grabbed dinner at Market Street.  After dessert we debated about staying for fireworks but Ella was almost sleep walking so we figured to head home which was probably for the best!
The kids were in a bouncy house when Ella noticed the trampolines and she wouldn't stop talking about them.  She made her way over to them and was just mesmerized by them-we asked her if she wanted to go and she definitely did!!  She LOVED it!  Here she is checking them out:
 And, here she goes!!
Joseph was up next and had a blast, too.  He even managed to do a flip with a little bit of help from Daddy.
They had a few other bounce house type games and after seeing the show, American Ninja, the day before with Daddy Joseph was determined to try one that was similar.  He was the youngest kid in line and didn't make it past the first jump (which ended in tears) but was super excited to try it.
We grilled out, got some things done around the home, had good workouts and went to the pool on both Sunday and Monday which all consists of a great Memorial Day weekend!
Seriously, why is it so difficult to get just a simple picture?!?  Not one where they are all looking so I'll include all of them...I guess if I could piece them all together then I'd have a decent one!
Julia's first time to the pool!!
Daddy is in long weekend mode with growing the facial hair out!
What a fun, relaxing long weekend!
