Newborn photos

On Saturday, September 13th we had Julia's newborn photos done at our home.  I asked the photographer to do family shots first since Joseph had two birthday parties to attend to...lets just say that I think Daddy was more than happy to leave with Joseph!  They definitely did not start off on the right foot.   Ella did NOT like what she was wearing and made sure that we all knew!  Nani got her dressed and she was totally happy with the white shirt and skirt but was not a fan of the red vest.  I already caved in by allowing her not to wear the bow in her hair which I wanted her to wear but I was not going to let her get away without the vest!   We were able to get it on her by distracting her but about every 5 mintues she would realize that she had it on, look down, yell "NOOOOO", try to take it off and then start crying!  It was hilarious (and also a bit frustrating.) And to add to the fun, I had fed Julia right before the photographer came but hadn't quite given her enough so she was still hungry during the family shots so she wasn't the happiest either.  We would stick the pacifier in her mouth and then pull it out right before a photo was taken.
Thankfully the photographer was able to get a few decent ones-I really had very, very VERY low expectations so was pleasantly surprised!

Check out Ella's glare in the next few and Julia's screams for food!

 And Ella's pout!
After feeding Julia again she was perfect for her individual photos!
She was awake for some and then fell to sleep for the rest.
