Charlotte is 4!!!!

Oh, Charlotte Grace! We can not believe that you are 4!  You definitely brighten our days and our home and we can't picture our lives without you.  You have a strong passion for everything in life and we love that about you.  You love big and it shows-whether its through your really strong hugs, your persistent attitude or your loyalty to your siblings, cousins, and even to Descendants-ha.  You bring joy and a bit of crazy everywhere you go.  We love how you sing "Shut your piehole, zip your lips" almost nightly at dinner, rule our dinner conversations with always beginning grace and insisting that you run the show with who goes first to share their favorite part of the day.  Your "demands" of having me sleep with you "all night long" and if I'm not there how you come into our bed and always ask Daddy the next day, "Did I kick you?" We won't lie, you can be tiring but we know this phase won't last forever (or at least we hope it won't-ha ha!) so we cherish it all.  You by far are our most demanding child but we say that with the most love possible.  You're a girl who knows what she wants and won't give up until you get it.  This will take you far in life and we can't wait to watch you grow!
Her birthday was all of her favorite things-the Safari Park, swimming, Nani, Poppa, Finn, Nora, pizza, a unicorn cake (not sure why she decided on this but she was adamant about it) and so much love from her siblings!

Some random photos of our 4 year old!!!

She received the Audrey tiara from Michael and John for her birthday and LOVES it!!  She wears it all day, every day!  I love watching her sing to the Descendants soundtrack with it on as she really gets into character!  She could listen to Descendants all day every day, too (and at the highest volume!!). "Alexa, play Descendants, volume 10" is one of her favorite quotes.  ha ha!
We've been talking to her about since she is turning 4 she should no longer need to sleep in our bed (or need me to lay with her while she falls asleep); however, this is not working!!  We've used sticker charts, a prize jar, bribes, talked about taking things away but nothing is sticking-she may do it for a night or two (if she is really motivated by a prize) but then it gets old to her and she is back coming in our room and needing me to sleep with her.  I'm at a loss so she'll probably just be doing this until she is 16!
Aunt Laura would humor her and play Clue with her this summer so now she wants to play all the time even though she doesn't know how to read so can't play.  I have to hide it and go back to playing Guess Who or the bee game!
Her look most days...tiara, scepter mermaid bathing suit...life doesn't get much better than this.
We love you Charlotte Grace and wish you the best year ever!!!  We are looking forward to watching you grow.
