Our beloved Jingle was able to find us in our new home this year and returned on December 1st! There was a lot of anticipation and talk about her return and SO much excitement when we found her! Jingle was up to all sorts of activities and fun this season, but, unfortunately, I didn't do a great job of documenting with pictures. Here are a few of the highlights from her visit though:
-She arrived on December 1st and we found her hanging out on the bannister upstairs with a note for the kids.
-She took two baths this year-one in the play kitchen sink filled with marshmallows and one in the baby pool that was set up by the kitchen filled with cotton balls!
-She celebrated both Ella and Joseph's birthdays by hanging from balloons over the dinner table
-After our Christmas tree was put up, she arrived with personalized ornaments for each of the kids describing something they did this year: Joseph and Ella both received soccer ornaments, Julia a gymnast and Charlotte a ballerina since that was her Halloween costume
-She was perched on top of about 20 rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom
-She was caught eating ice cream cake in the freezer-this was a hit!
-She would often leave sweet notes like this one...the only picture I took this year other than on her last day.
And, finally on her very last night she left us this sweet poem and a box of Elf on the Shelf bandaids. We love Jingle and the extra magic that she brings to our home. This year was just as special as last year and we look forward to her return next Christmas season!!
*Just something fun to remember-almost all of Ella's journals at school during the month of December were about Jingle and she continued to write about Jingle well into the new year!!
