September birthday party!

We celebrated Julia and Charlotte's birthdays with the family on Sunday, September 9th.  Funny story about the day of the birthday party...Julia had mentioned a few times on her real birthday that her birthday was not that much fun since she had to go to soccer games and each time she said that I replied with something nalongn the linens of, "Well, you are super lucky because you get to celebrate your birthday againnn tomorrow with everyone which is going to be super fun."  Well, she kept this inn mind and on Sunday morning she woke up and said, "Since my birthday wasn't that fun yesterday because I had to go to the soccer games, and since today is my party I think we should skip church first because that isn't that fun and you said today would be super fun!"  Oh, Julia, you are too smart! Although I feel guilty admitting it, we did make her a happy girl by not attendignnn mass that day...we had breakfast at the Vuonngs in the morning for a post-campout sleepover and Rich wasn't feeling that great, so we just took it easy to get ready to celebrate in the afternoon so her wish did come true, but we did talk with her that church isn't meant to be fun but we go to thank God for all of our blessings, and that she is definitely one of our biggest blessings!!
Other than not attending church on the day of her party, her only other request for her birthday was a unicorn pinata which thankfully I was able to find and she was thrilled about!  Charlotte didn't have any special requests and although she wasn't a huge fan of hitting the pinnata she did love getting the candy and toys from it and had a great day at the party, too!  We also played "Pinn the cloud on the rainbow" and had a wonderful time swimming, too! SO much fun to all be together and to celebrate our sweet girls turning 4 and 2!
Julia asked for a nerf gun so the Ozecks came through and got both her and Charlotte one, so they are now ready for the nerf gun battles in the cul de sac!
Charlotte loved all of her gifts, too, with her Baby Shark book from Finn being a favorite!
It was a perfect day for lots of pool time for the afternoon!
Finn even got up on the board!
Kid table!!!

Sydney is so sweet with both of them and Julia, especially, really adores her.
Ice cream pies for the birthday girls!

We hope all of their dreams come true this upcoming year.  We are so thankful for each of these special girls are looking forward to a wonderful year ahead with each of them.  Love you both!!
