Charlotte 6 months!

Our sweet little peanut is 6 months!  Half a year.  That is so hard to believe.  She's been such a joy these past 6 months and truly she is the perfect addition and end note to our family.  At her six month well check on February 6th, she weighed 18 pounds (80th percentile) and was 26.5 inches long (75th percentile). This sixth month has brought a lot of big milestones for her, too! She had her first nap in her crib (aka pack and play) on February 7th.  Although she has been sleeping in there during the nights for awhile, she has been napping either in the carseat or in the swing up until now; however, it is time!  She  is basically hanging over the swing trying to reach the ground so it is time to retire it!  Her nap only lasted 40 minutes but was a milestone and will continue to try to get her to nap in there as often as possible depending on schedule.  She is sleeping ok at night...I'd say she sleeps really well for about a week (7:00 p.m.-4ish and after I feed her she goes back to sleep until 6:30ish) but then after about a week it seems that something goes awry and she is back to being up every few hours.  We are sticking with it though and know that she'll get the hang of it soon enough.
Also, on February 7th I'd say that she was officially sitting independently.  She continued to get sturdier and safer for the rest of the month and by the time she turned 6 months on March 3rd she was a champ at it!
She has expanded her palette this past month as well and is now eating sweet potatoes, bananas, avocados, peas and carrots and seems to like them all!
She continues to be as sweet as can be.  We love how as soon as you pick her up she holds on to your clothing as if she is never going to let go!  She also holds on to your hand often when putting her down for a nap as if to say, "Please don't put me in there!!!"
She still takes the paci regularly but at times she will protest it in her mouth and move her head or put her hands up blocking her mouth so it won't go in.  She's a funny one!!  She also has moved from tolerating the ergo to liking it which has been great.  She often will fall asleep in it now and if she doesn't she will either snuggle up or peek her head over the carrier backwards and chew on the fabric.  I'm just thankful that I didn't end up buying the 360 model a few months back which I was definitely contemplating since she wasn't showing any hope that she'd be ok with facing in so glad we stuck with it.
Her siblings continue to love on her constantly, even more so these days now that she's getting bigger.  They are constantly making her smile and laugh and her laughter continues to be the best sound in the world and is contagious with everyone.  Nothing beats the sound of a baby belly laugh.
Here is her six month photo shoot taken in pjs!!
Most days, I don't think she looks like anyone in the family but in this photo I think she looks like me and Ella!  I also think she looks different in this picture though compared to the rest of them-must have been the lighting.  Her hair is not dark as it appears here-she is definitely a little blondie!
Here is a look back at some pictures from the past month.  I am realizing that a lot of them I already posted in previous posts but I couldn't just leave her 6 month post with only one set of pictures so decided to include them all.  We can't get enough of this sweet pea!

I call her "Sister sister" a lot and her she is on February 8th
February 9th...I mean, seriously, we just want to eat her up all of the time!

February 22nd
She is just SO much fun!  And honestly, SO happy.  As long as she is fed, which normally isn't a problem, then she is all smiles for everyone!
 Look at those baby blues.

And that big wide open mouthed smile!

Happy 6 months Charlotte Grace.  We love you so much.
