I didn't pack a lunch because I really didn't think we were going to be there for that long but as it approached noon we said to the kids that we'd check out one more plane and then we'd grab some food at the booths that were across the runway. We started reading off the options to them, "pizza, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, etc" and Joseph and Ella both chose pizza and Rich had his eye on the bbq plate. As we walked up to order the pizza, our jaws dropped as we looked at the price...$7.00 for a slice!! And, they weren't even Costco size slices!! Rich never turns down a meal and the price of food never bothers him but even he couldn't do it. We did get two slices for the kids since we had told them that we would and they were hungry so $14.00 later they were full and we got ripped off. Thank goodness the air show was free :)
They were watching the Army Knight parachuters which you can vaguely see up in the clouds if you look closely-so sweet.
It was a really fun morning and thankfully wasn't too hot. The kids were great and Joseph has already asked to go to back next year.
