A few fun pictures to finish out the month...still can't believe that the month is really over.
Loving the Trader Joes' mini ice cream cones for dessert this week!
August 24th
Always looking up to her big brother!
Storytime at the library on August 25th. Ella loves her some "Itsy Bitsy Spider"
Katie has to be in Houston about once a month for work and we are loving it! She came up to visit and for dinner on Monday the 25th! Just to think for next month my belly won't be quite as big!!
Some fun at the park on August 26th.
They have so much fun playing together and we just love watching them together! Here they were playing hide and seek with each other behind the trees on the walk home from the park.
Jack and Olivia came over to play later that day and we made a fort which Ella serenaded Jack in.
And then she wanted him to play.
Ella realizing that I was taking pictures. Gosh, I think this is a glimpse of my life during her teenage years-look at that stink eye!!
We normally take baths at least twice a day (sometimes three times.) The kids can just play in it for so long that it is easy entertainment and I can shower while watching them play which works out well. Our water bill may be a bit higher but it is well worth it!
Ella is totally into choosing her own clothes these days and changing outfits throughout the day. I was putting clothes away and she found Joseph's clothes and insisted on wearing them for the rest of the day.
And here she is with her baby all bundled up in the towel.
More pictures while back in the bath on the 27th!
On the 28th Joseph wanted to wear his Jake costume to boot camp (surprise surprise) and Sarah caught a few action shots of him working out! When we went to the library earlier this week Joseph checked out a Jake book and then at Target this week we bought a different Jake book so that night, while wearing his costume, he was saying "I'm all Jaked out now!"
After boot camp we headed to Market Street to play with a bunch of friends. It was such a fun morning/early afternoon!
On Friday the 29th we went for a walk and stopped at one of the lake areas on our walk to play and stretch.
Joseph had his last day of sports camp on Saturday, August 30th. The sport this week was hockey.
At the end of the class they played a game called "Dead Bugs" and Joseph was one of the bugs to start off. He loved it!
And here he is as a green bug trying to save the dead bugs.
And, here he is as a dead bug!! Too funny!
On Saturday the 30th we went downtown for a get together with some of Rich's classmates from West Point. There were about 8 families there and it was held at the in-laws home of one of the guys that he graduated with. The home was gorgeous (I wanted to take pictures of it but controlled myself but to give you somewhat of an idea they have a 24 hour armed security guard and hired help for the home) and we had a great time swimming, playing and catching up/meeting with people. Joseph was basically in the pool for 4 straight hours-he had a blast!
On the final day of August we met up with the Enia family at the pool and spent a few hours there for the Sunday afternoon and then headed to a new burger place, Grub, for dinner. It was a great way to end the month! (unfortunately no pictures) Can't believe September is here...on to another fabulous month!
