In Between

We had less than 2 weeks back at home (with only one weekend which Rich was away for because of his aunt's funeral) in between our family vacations so it wasn't quite long enough to just do laundry and throw things back in suitcases but the packing for the second trip was definitely easier since I just replicated everything that we packed for the first trip!  We stayed busy at home in between the trips and here are some pictures from the middle of July.
The first day back from our trip Joseph wanted to wear his duck shirt that cousin Catie bought for him so we had to take a few modeling pictures!

And, of course, Ella had to get in on the photo shoot, too!

My friend, Jamie, and I swapped kids for a morning.  We headed to the park with the boys
and then when they were at their house Jamie sent me these pictures.  Joseph is still obsessed with baseball and still obsessed with Kolton (their oldest son) so he was in heaven.  He asked (or begged) to wear Kolton's uniform and baseball cleats so here he is
We made a trip to Sam's Club during the week and this was the first time that they sat in the double cart together!  They both loved it!
We checked on our garden-it is growing like crazy!!
And we spotted a tomato!  Yay!  Can you see it?
One morning Joseph asked to go in the pool at about 7:30 a.m. I believe...figured why not?  It kept him busy for an hour or so and it was at least 80 by then so was plenty warm enough!
A little baseball in the pool
And some surfing
It was a little too early for Ella and I to get in the pool so we hung out and watched!
A few pictures from the park after a morning run
And another stop at the park after a different morning run
Just a few random shots of Ella (July 14th)

Ella's first time wearing a clip in her hair-July 18th
She's a fan!
And then back to her big bows!
On Friday, July 19th, we went to the pool with friends and outside of the pool was  a firetruck promoting a community event coming up.  What a fun surprise before heading to the pool!

And then the following day, on the 20th, we were back on the plane heading to the Outerbanks but this time with the Ducote family.  It was a busy but fun few weeks in the middle of July and we are so thankful that we spent the beginning of the month with family and the end of the month with family!
