Just hanging out in June!

The first month of summer has been a blast filled with some big things (the marathon, Disneyland, and our trip to the southeast) but also lots of little things that kept our days full and the kids happy.

We kicked off June by hanging out with Katie, Zack and Abby one morning at the Westwood club.
That afternoon, Joseph had a birthday party at Gyminy Kids which he loved!
While Joseph was at the party, Ella practiced her selfies!
This all happened one morning before 9:00 a.m.-it started with mixing ice cubes, water and spices and then everyone ended up just soaked!  Lots of fun though.
We had friends from preschool over one afternoon to swim and play which was a lot of fun.
And the next day we went to another friend from preschool's home to swim and play there.
Julia running with me one day at the community park.
We've been meeting with two friends from school weekly at the Westwood club which everyone looks forward to!  We normally start int he little pool, then make our way to the big pool and then finish at the playground-it has been a great way to spend the afternoon!
And, we have done a TON of swimming in our pool.  Between our pool and the club we swim every day of the week-or at least 6 days of the week with some days swimming twice.  I have told Rich numerous times how much I love having the pool and I only think it is going to get even better as the kids get older.
We met up with the Ozecks and some of their friends from Coronado in Mission Hills for a hot but fun hike on the 27th.  These girls just love being together!!
Took a break from some tree climbing and shade!
Julia alternated between walking with the big kids and riding in the ergo on my back with me and was a trooper!

We've made some pretty cool forts this summer!
More pictures from the pool! Julia is loving the puddle jumper now which has been so great for me, as well!  So nice not having to hold her and she is real confident with it on and loves it!  She is a jumping machine now and is always saying "ump, ump" and has no problem going underwater...definitely a fish like her older siblings!
These next few pictures make me laugh!  One afternoon we met up with friends at the library for a concert by Hullabaloo, a local kids group that is great!  Ella, for whatever reason, did not want to go. She pouted for the entire car ride there and then sat and pouted for the first song.  By the end of the second song she was dancing and laughing and loved it!  Ha ha!
Look at her now!!  I wish it was clearer but how funny is that!
To finish out the month of June, just this sweet picture of these three hanging around enjoying one another's company!!
